Law will be enforced on October 1 about protecting children from smoking. The fines are quite big and the driver and the smoker will be punished up to 80 dollars each of them.

The Department of Health claims that all children are endangered when a smoke is around them. When they are around secondhand smoke, they breathe in thousands of chemicals, as the smoker do. This is very alarming, because they may get a lot of diseases such as cancer, pneumonia or bronchitis. Moreover, asthma may appear to.

  1. All Private Vehicles

The mentioned law means that all that is written in it applies to any private vehicle. There is no difference if the car is enclosed or partly enclosed with a roof.  It still applies if people have the windows or sunroof open, have the air-conditioning on, or if they sit in a parked car with the door open. But, it does not apply to those cars that have their roof completely down.

  1. Other Vehicles Have Their Own Rules

There are different rules to boats, ships and aircrafts than cars. Public transport and vehicles that are used for work are not affected. It is important to mention that children are exposed the most because they breathe faster than the elderly people. Moreover, they have more developed lungs, airway and immune system.
